STYLE STAR–Kerry Washington!

As the first African-American woman to headline a major network drama since 1974.  In April 2012, Kerry made history when the ABC hit show, Scandal, premiered, naming her the first African American woman to star in a Network television show. Scandal is a smash hit with legion of fans.

This Christmas the 35-year-old star will star opposite Academy Award-winning actors Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson and Leonardo DiCaprio in the Quentin Tarantino directed/produced film “Django Unchained.”

Couple Kerry’s amazing success and with all eyes on her, you can’t help but to notice that she is a STYLE STAR. So, it’s no surprise that ELLE magazine featured the stunning star in its December 2012 issue.

Kerry Washington is originally from The Bronx, New York, Washington is a graduate of The Spence School. In 1998, she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from The George Washington University.

Kerry is also the Winner of “Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture” for Ray at the NAACP Image Awards in 2005 and nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for “Best Actress” in the film Lift in 2002, Kerry is a versatile and fearless actress and emerging Style Star!  She garnered critical acclaim for her roles in The Last King of Scotland opposite Forest Whitaker for which she was nominated for “Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture” at the NAACP Image Awards in 2007, The Dead Girl opposite Marcia Gay Harden and Brittany Murphy, and in Lakeview Terrace starring opposite Samuel L. Jackson and Patrick Wilson. Kerry was nominated for Best Actress for the 2011 BET Awards.
