Usher is proving that he’s still got it. The sexy crooner’s song, Climax, has been named Time Magazine’s best song, in their countdown. Climax, co-written by Usher, beat out viral sensation Psy, Taylor Swift and Nikki Minaj for the top spot.

Psy came in second. Taylor Swift came in 4th with the Grammy nominated song, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. According to the magazine, Usher’s song was a mega hit on Vodafone’s Big Top 40.

Climax comes from Usher’s 7th studio album release, Looking 4 Myself. Usher defines the album as “ revolutionary pop”. It incorporates pop, hip-hop, europop, dubstep, and R&B into one nice little package. Diplo produced the chart topping Climax. Other producers involved in the project were Pharrell Williams, Max Martin, Rico Love, Salaam Remi, and Jim Jonsin. Climax peaked in the top twenty on the Billboard Top 100 and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts for eleven weeks.
