Republican National Convention Speaker Clint Eastwood's Daughter is Voting for President Obama

Clint Eastwood delivering his infamous speech at the Republican National Convention

Clint Eastwood, the famed actor and film director that delivered the infamous “empty chair” speech at the Republican National Convention, appears to have a split house in regards to politics. Paparazzi caught up with the star’s 19-year-old daughter and asked her who she’s supporting for this year’s Presidential Election. Francesca Eastwood told the paps she’s voting for President Obama. “I happen to not be voting for the same man,” she said of her dad. “But I love that he stands up for what he believes in.”

Clint Eastwood’s infamous speech was largely criticized and started a phenomenon known as “Eastwooding,” which consisted of people posting pictures of themselves talking to an empty chair on social media platforms. Eastwood’s response to the criticism he received about his speech was more comical than the speech itself. “If somebody’s dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they’re gonna have to take what they get,” he said in an interview. “People loved it or hated it and that’s fine,” he added. “That’s what it was supposed to be.”

President Obama’s response about Clint Eastwood was diplomatic. “He is a great actor, and an even better director,” he told a major publication. “I think the last few movies that he’s made have been terrific.” Billionaire film director Steven Spielberg happens to be a major supporter of President Obama. He and Dreamworks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg donated $1 million to the Obama campaign this year.

At her age, she seems to understand the difference between the haves & the have not s…………..good for her. It is refreshing to watch a sensitive actor’s child reflect on the true meaning behind the President that must serve the people not …one-self…. She can see a part of her dad in Both men, but would rather see the man with plans to share & help the people build better lives with a little help from government, and why not; we all pay taxes. ….rather than with the man, with plenty of money, planning more ways to make more money while in the office; and at the same time service Big Business with loop-holds, tax advantages [breaks] and the like.

Very heartening to see a teenager who shows so much more responsibility and understanding about individual freedom than some who are so much older, millionaire and billionaire employers who are overtly instructing their employees whom they must vote for. She can teach them about independence, a virtue that escapes these rich men with lots of money. Although she obviously disagrees with her father’s political choice, she still shows him the utmost respect, something very lacking among the hooligans and bullies who are in the position to lord it over their employees and to threaten them with their jobs if the President wins the election in November. How much lower will they stoop? Only God knows.

It’s not surprising to me that someone of Clint Eastwood intellect would produce an off-spring with some real common sense!!!

Great! good for Francesca. She obviously is much smarter than her father. He may be a great actor and director, but he has no idea what America needs at this time in history, because it sure is not old Willard the professional at running for the presidency, which he’s going to lose. History will record Clint as the “COOC” who talked to the chair at the 2012 Republican Party National Convention. I bet behind closed doors Francesca asked him, ” Dad, why did you embarrass me like that”.

I am not arguing with Eastwood- he can do what he wants to. If that’s what he believes, then he has the right to stand up for it. His daughter has her own convictions- fine.
