Chad Ochocinco downplays Evelyn Lozada’s decision to file for a divorce

Evelyn Lozada’s ex-husband, Chad Johnson, returned to Twitter for the first time  after being arrested for allegedly head-butting his ex-wife during an argument. He updated his Twitter avatar with a photo of himself with a picture of Lozada’s face tattooed on his right leg. In addition to having her face tattooed on him, he has the name “Eve” located underneath her picture. Of course a large majority of his Twitter followers reacted unfavorably to his tattoo. Fans even mocked him saying they didn’t understand why the former Miami Dolphins wide receiver got the tattoo after their divorce. Johnson snapped back at fans and tweeted: “Divorce? Child please… that’s my WIFE RT”  He then followed up with another tweet further downplaying his ex-wife’s divorce. “I dont give a flying pretzel in skittle rainbow hell what she filed for… RT,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Lozada has been aggressively working on her hot temper that she has been frequently criticized about on VH1’s “Basketball Wives.” In addition to acquiring professional help to work on her mind, body, and soul, Lozada has also appeared on primetime television to discuss her decision to divorce Johnson. During a recent Nightline interview, Lozada said, “I would like for him to tell me he got help and that he’s working on himself,” when asked what she wants to hear from her ex. She added that, “he loves football and he’s very driven and a great dad. He made a bad choice that destroyed his life, and I hate that I’m connected to that…It was his choice, it wasn’t mine.” At one point in the interview, Lozada also said a woman shouldn’t fear her husband, which ultimately lead her to the decision to divorce Johnson.

The 37-year-old reality star  and mother has been working alongside celebrity spiritual teacher, Iyanla Vanzant, to acquire treatment for her mind, body, and soul. Lozada is set appear on Vanzant’s new show “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” which premieres September 15 on OWN. During a preview clip for Lozada’s episode, a devastated Lozada is seen sobbing about her current image in the media.

“You have been rewarded for being [a] thug among women, it’s gonna cost you!” Vanzant told Lozada before going on to ask “How did you get to stitches in your forehead, living in a hotel?”
