Minaj is breaking ground as a female hip hop artist in ways that haven’t been seen in a while. But there are some who wonder if she can also help to get women into the game who don’t have to take their clothes off in order to show their skills.

Nicki Minaj took her skills to the Jay Leno show this week, performing the song “Pound the Alarm” from her “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” album. She did an interview with the host before the performance, looking quite sexy in an outfit that almost no one wears on a show like that.
Nicki mentioned to Jay that she used to be a waitress at Red Lobster back in the day and how she worked hard to get into the game. She is now one of the biggest artists in America and a prime money maker, showing few signs of slowing down any time soon. She brought her backup dancers, who was just as skantily clad as she was, and tore the place down.
