La Toya Jackson Tells Her Family: “Stop Fighting in Public!”
La Toya Jackson, sister of the late Michael Jackson, is coming out and telling her relatives to stop fighting in public. La Toya, who many consider to be one of the more “off balance” members of the family, is the only one calling for sanity in this on-going family feud.
The Jackson family has been embroiled in controversy for several weeks, fighting over Michael’s money, the custody of his kids and nearly everything else. There have been allegations of kidnapping, theft and all kinds of other things in the family, all of which has made the entire Jackson family look silly.
La Toya says that the family needs to stop airing its dirty laundry out in public and settle its disputes in private.
So far, Katherine, Michael’s mother, has lost her guardianship of Michael’s three kids. A judge in Los Angeles has appointed TJ Jackson as the new guardian, at least for a while. Also, Janet, Randy, Jermaine and Rebbie Jackson sent a letter to the executors of Michael’s estate, accusing them of stealing and forging his name on the will, which they believe is fraudulent.
Guess she should talk.
She knows all too well what it’s like to put her own family on Front Street and that was back when they had it going on…
So I guess it’s not possible at all for people to change after a couple of decades, huh? Why do people like to bring up old and negative things about others? What is the expiration date for harsh judgment against a woman who made what is called “MISTAKES”? Oh, I guess you’ve never done ANYTHING of a different subject matter in your entire life that you regret. Hindsight is 20-20. People MATURE. People have regrets and they learn from their mistakes — Everybody except YOU, I suppose.
I am very proud of LaToya’s stance and maturity regarding this matter.
This family has had problems since these kids have been little. The family has always have acted like this.they learned from dad..and never heard moms voice back then micheal turned out like he did vecause he hated his family life. When he got older and could speak for himself he let this family and went out on his own . He never interreacted with family for yrs. I think thats why he climb back into the little boy ge never got to be. Everyone was out to use him for one thing or another. He died with someone using him. Poor Micheal.. He never got to know what it was to be truly loved. Thats why he couldnt be himself..he climb into a world that he thought he would be safe in..but it turned out that people even went out for him making him out to be something he wasnt! . It was people who was jealous for what he had… All his life i belive people were Micheals DEVIL money and making him out to be a child malestr…which i dont believe..he loved those kiids..he wanted friends in (his world) Inosents because the Adult world took him and everthing they could get from him. Even the two women took a peice of him im sure that made him feel inaccute. Micheal im so sorry life was so bad from youre begining and at the ending for you. My heart will always be there for you ..your family…they will never be happy. Sick people. With all that money..may it burn a whole in there life if not given to your kids !!!!!

If it were not for their father being strict and believing in them they would still be broke living in a shack in Gary Ind.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again Michael Jackson created this mess by leaving his fortune to these non blood artificially created adopted white children. Michael had such self hatred and contempt for his race that he rather leave his fortune and control of his legacy to white people than his own black family.
David, I agree with you on some issues. Joe Jackson made the Jackson-5, he never gets any credit. Michael began to have problems when he left his family and trusted the wrong people.
It is very strange that a man with his wealth would go to PWT-Debbie Rowe, marry her and have these children, I could never understand his behavior. At least he and Lisa Marie had something in common.
At first I supported the children, but now they appear to be spoiled nasty brats especially Paris who is so FULL OF HERSELF.
Katherine Jackson allowed Debbie Rowe into their lives and you can bet she is influencing this “SNOT” daughter she bred.
Also, their names are Michael Joseph, Paris Katherine, and Prince Michael. Why both boys were called Prince is weird.
I loved MJ but I refuse to believe all of the mean things reportedly that he said against other family members. He should have embraced family and not strangers.
Lets stop acting like we know this family. The only thing that separates them from most of the rest of us is the amount of money they may be fighting about. Many of us would be extremely embarrassed if cameras were rolling and reporters were documenting the arguments and knock down drag outs that take place in our families when someone dies. I know some of my folks would act a fool over a couple hundred dollars. The Jacksons are striking me as a normal American family (on this issue) only living under a microscope the rest of us have the blessing of not dealing with. I’m going to let them deal with their family drama while I deal with mine.
I agree with much that the above commentator stated. MJ was misused, misguided and manipulated his entire life. His family, like so many others, is plagued with greed, hurt, issues, secrets, senselessness, stupidity, negativity, jealousy…. Sadly another generation is feeling pain and carrying the dysfunctional torch.

Let’s not forget Michael did not build his legacy all by himself. His start came from his dad, mother, the Jackson 5 and sisters. None of us have perfect life, in fact most are just as disfunctional as the Jacksons in one way or another. It a shame that Michael didn’t appreciate his heritage or family, and thought the grass was greener on the white side, but in the end those he trusted in place of his family put him in his grave. Latoya is right, it shouldn’t be aired in public, but address it to those who made it public. The Jackson Family have a right to fight for what has been built through their family bloodline, especially since Mom J is no longer able to handle family affairs, especially a 14 yr old tweeting teen who should not be in grown folks business.
lovemyblackness, you said it all……his father built that career, f.y.i. during the 50′s and earlier we got beating for what wrong things we did, that is the fact, michael was luckier than the rest of his brothers, and he made it bigger than them, that does not mean he was better, it was God’s plan, michael was God blessed, now, he could or should have included the rest of the family in his will, the white folks (whom he loved and wanted to look like,) took what they wanted and then accused him of all sorts s*x with kids. he just could not get enough of wanting to be white like them that he went out and brought white kids. Michael should of left some of his money to his family. Because if it wasn’t for them he wouldn’t gotten where he was.And the greedy entertainment industry took him under their winga to brainwash him and he didn’t have the insight to see this. As far as those kids go, I personally don’t think they are his but he’s claiming to be their father and he’s the only father they know. Maybe when they become of age and they learn the truth(if there’s any to be learned because when blacks and whites have children together they can come out looking either way and this is a fact)they’ll write a book about it. I bet there mother knows and she has probably been paid to keep her mouth shut.
Michael Jackson suffered from a skin condition called vitiligo, which causes the skin to lose pigmentation. He was not trying to be white. I often wonder if he started wearing that glove because of his skin condition on his hand. About his relatives, he supported all of them for decades after he became a single act. Now his siblings and father, who brutalized Michael, want his money. They’re not entitled to any of it. Michael was a gentle soul who was misunderstood. May he rest in peace.
Fool yourself if you want to but Michael’s actions prove you wrong! Why didn’t he adopt Black kids from this country who are least adopted and valued? He chose makeup lighter than white instead of matching his real color. What excuse do you have for his crazy looking white hair? You can come up with all the excuses you want but everybody knows Michael worshipped whites until he began to see how demonic they are but by the time he realized it, it was too late. Getting your b**t whooped when you try and step to a parent or someone older in your family is not abuse or brutalizing it’s called discipline. Funny but really isn’t – Michael Jackson, Whitney Houstan, Elvis Presley, Amy Winehouse…just to name a few all worth 100′ of millions when they died. Had what many DREAM OF but All sat up through many nights crying and wondering still what to do. Only the Peace of God who Gives wealth, fame and fortune comes with no SORROW! Hmmmmmmmmm.
La Toya is the last person that should be opening her mouth about “Not Fighting in Public.” I remember seeing her on TV, when her brother was
being bullied right, left and centre about being a child molester and the
hateful remarks she made then! I’ve been waiting all these years to hear one single word of apology for the horrible things she had to say, it’s quite possible she did …….. but all I can say is that Michael must have been very, very forgiving!!!!
