Tia and Tamera Say They Will Never Act Crazy on TV
With the second season of their reality show set to hit the small screen June 11 on the Style Network, Tia Mowry-Hardict and Tamera Mowry-Housley say don’t expect them to argue and toss drinks at each other on camera.
Mowry-Hardict told Vibe Vixen about the difficulties of getting their reality show picked up. “I remember when we were pitching our show to different networks, many of them didn’t want to pick it up because they felt like we didn’t have enough conflict.”
Despite the high ratings of Basketball Wives, Real Housewives of Atlanta and the like, Mowry-Hardict and her now pregnant twin sister have decided to take a different approach to television.
“My sister and I were like, ‘We aren’t those type of people,'” said the former Game star. “So, it’s all about us being positive role models. People always say it’s nice to see fresh, vibrant women on television, and that’s my sister and I. That’s how our career has always been and we knew we weren’t going to change who we are for the show business, so it’s kind of something that has been accepted.”

Way to go girls. You were always clean and classy. It’s good to see that you know that you don’t have to act a fool to remain on TV. I applaud you.

It’s sad to think, that some people have given in to the pressures of the media and producers who only want to increase the bottom line. True, drama does draw viewers. But we have to draw the line somewhere. Seems like BBW just get to gether to eat, drink and talk junk/fight. WTF? How about covering other activities, like charities, business’ children’s accomplishments etc. I’m sure they have something else going on besides the petty arguing/bullying, fighting, B@$*&% calling etc. I applaud you Tia & Tamera. You are a class act. Always were and hope you always will be. God bless!

Icommend highly these two young, classy ladies for their stance on how
they portray themselves on television. I am sick to death of the way some of these shows that show black women as the loud, head swaying, fighting, finger popping “SALLY FROM THE ALLEY” type, implanting
negative stereotypes in the minds of of millions of t.v. viewers
praise God for you ladies doing your show with integrity!!!

Tia this is exactly what I see you doing to Tamera. You do not have to put your sister down to make yourself look good. Tamer is a class act.
