Dr. Boyce: Is Oprah’s Decision to Interview 50 Cent Based on Desperation?

When I read that Oprah Winfrey was going to interview 50 Cent, I took a moment of pause. I thought, “Why would a champion for women’s rights interview a man who has made millions by degrading women in every way imaginable?”
I thought that perhaps this was a public peace offering, similar to the decision by Elton John to perform with Eminem after a series of homophobic remarks. I thought maybe it was also a reflection of Oprah’s development as a human being and her capacity to forgive. Then, I came back to earth and realized that this was all about the Benjamins. That’s why both 50 and Oprah are filthy rich.
I ain’t mad at them that’s how they make their money do you honestly hang on anything the two of these people say. I don’t and neither should anyone else. Peace I’m outta here
I think the question as to “why” is foolish. What additional monetary gain does Oprah get for interviewing a man who in no way fits with her audience, fan base, or following. Maybe, just maybe there is a story behind the interview or maybe she’s interviewing him because she can. Amazing how some people think others should operate on some daily level that meets there individual approval. I’m not a big Oprah fan nor a 50 Cent fan, but Oprah has been doing shows and interviews for a very long time in a very successful way. If she and her team of professionals somehow determined there was a story there worth investigating, I think they just “might” know what they are doing. The say there is no such thing as a dumb question, but the question WHY she is going to interview him is flat out D.U.M.B.

Yes. Both of them look extremely fake, she knows she don’t care for no rapper besides Jay-Z and 50 cent is so evil he was just probably getting his rocks off just sitting next to someone he knows can’t stand him.
