Look Before You Leake: Nene Gets a Fashion Line
Nene Leakes is going to start doing more than just showing up on TV. The star of “Real Housewives” is going to soon be launching a fashion line. The 44-year old Leakes says that the line is going to be ready for the public on June 12 and that Beanstalk has agreed to “leverage NeNe’s position in pop culture to offer consumers fashion-forward, affordable apparel and accessories, designed to empower women to walk into a room and ‘own it’ — like NeNe herself.”
Nene went to Twitter and told her 770,000 followers about the line.
“When u keep it real & play the game fair, good things will come 2 u.”
Steven Grossman, Leake’s manager, says that fans love Nene.
“Her no-nonsense demeanor and entrepreneurial spirit has allowed her to amass a loyal fan base that shares her ambition,” said Grossman. “Through the launch of authentic and compelling consumer products, NeNe will have the ability to enhance the connection she maintains with fans and extend beyond her existing entertainment platforms.”
